CUMULATIVE SENTENCES,
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 23. Arthur Gordon Kale, aged 30, pleaded guilty at Petone to the theft of ladies’ handbags and contents valued at £l7 11s 6d and three bicycles valued £3, £4 and £2. Accused, who was discharged from prison in 'September, rode on bicycles at night snatching handbags from women Five cumulative sentences of five months imprisonment were imposed.’
