110th ANNIVERSARY OF MISSION

The 110th anniversary of the establishment of the Methodist Maori Mission will he celebrated at Hawera on Monday, when a mission 'demonstration will be held in the Grand Theatre. The programme will he provided by the Rev. A. J. Seamer’s party of Maori singers' and musicians which has already amazed the New Zealand public by its versatility, delightful harmonies, and haunting melodies. Judging by the Press reports, the programmes are of outstanding merit. The party will appear in national costumes and the typical Maori dances and pastime's will be included in the programme as. well as music on ancient and modern scores.
