EFFECT OF EMERGENCY PLAN LIABILITY OF RELATIVES. (United Press Association—Bv Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 11.40 p.m to-day. CANBERRA, Nov. 19.. Since the operation of the Financial Emergency Act on September 1 whereby relatives, where possible', are; bound to contribute toward, the pensions of those receiving them, 2000 invalid and old-age pensions have already been surrendered in all States. Another clause in the Act provides that any pension money paid after October 12 will become a charge on the property of the pensioner after his death.
