SOUTH TARANAKI DIVISION. SOUTHERN TEAM CHOSEN. Delegates' of the cricket clubs in South Taranaki .present at the monthly meeting of the division last night jvere Messrs H. R. Penny (chairman), H. Barker (secretary), W. J. Hall, O. Young (Stratford), V. Betts (Kaponga), L. A. Jennings ('Hawera), H. G. Whitehead (High School). ‘Apologies for absence were received from Messrs D. Paterson and 11. .Sagar. The date for the Eangitikci match at Hawera was confirmed as February IS, 11)33. The question of nominations for the I Country team to play Wellington on 'December 14. and 15 w r as left to Mr Jennings to discuss with 'the North selector next Saturday. In view of the illness of Mr George Syme, southern selector, the team to play North Taranaki on Saturday was selected by the management committee and the following were chosen: 11. Barker, W. Barker, R, Thrush, Moloney (Old Boys), Dormer, Hall, Wilson (Stratford), <S. Betts, R. Eden (Tvaponga), Giblin, and Penny (Hawera), A. Walker, twelfth man. Emergencies, Court (Kaponga), €. Palmer (Patea). Any player not available is asked to advise secretary at once. The hours of play will be 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Mr Jennings was also appointed .coselector with Mr fD. F. Saxton to choose the Hawke Cup team. Arrangements have been made to give attention to the representative match. wicket at the Park. The next meeting of the division will be held on December 19.
