A very successful euolire party and dance social was held in the To Ivoti hall last week in aid of funds for St. Luke’s church. Prizes for the euchre were won as follow: Ladies, Mrs. Mickelsen (Eltham) 1, Mrs. Grierson 2 and travelling prize. Miss Coxliead consolation; men, Mr. H. Startup 1, Mr. Speed 2, Mr. Wells travelling prize. Master Sid 'Blow consolation. Music lor tin* dance was supplied by Mrs. Finch. A lucky spot waltz was won by Mr. Bergen son and Miss ('oxhead. a Monti' Carlo fox trot by Mr. Speed and Miss Grierson, and a. Monte Carlo waltz by Miss (batterton and partner.
