FATAL AIR FORCE CRASH
TWO NEW ZEALAND VICTIMS i CAUGHT BY SUDDEN SPIN ’PLANE GOES INTO' NOSE DIVE GRANTHAM SCHOOL TRAGEDY (United Preen Association—By Electric Telegraph Dopy right.) Received 2.30 p.m. to-dav. LONDON. Oct. 12. Two Now Zealanders, FJight-Lkjut. Harold Claude Marett and Acting-Pilot Officer Adrian Kinross White, pilot and passenger respectively, of the Air Force training school at Grantham, were killed instantly when a- ’plane in ! which they were flying suddenly got into a .spin and nose dived. White jumped over when near tlhe earth, but the parachute did not open. Marett crashed in. the debris of the machine, which killed a sheep a« it crashed. NAPIER HOME BEREAVED PARENTS RECEIVE NEWS NAPIER, Oct. 13. News off the death of their son, Act-ing-Pilot Officer Adrian Kinross White in the aeroplane crash which occurred ■over the village of Great Ponton, near Grantham, England, lias been received by Mr and Mrs W. Kinross White, of Napier.
