EXPRESSIONS OF FRIENDSHIP. WIDE KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Oet. 11. The Prince of Wales and Prince George have concluded I heir visit to Sweden. On the eve. of their departure the Prince of Wales broadcast a speech in which lie expressed to the. people of Sweden warm to auks jor their, friendly reception given his brother and himself. He was much impressed by all he had seen, by the beauty of Sweden’s country and capital and by those aspects of industval life which ho was able to inspect. Commenting on thei widespread knowledge of the English language among all classes in Sweden, the Prince of AValos expressed the opinion that the Swedes were wise "to leain English because it was becoming enu of the best and easiest means of intercourse between nations. It gave him great satisfaction to observe the growing tendency in Sweden towards comjmercia,! and (cultural relations with Britain, which he assured Sweden Britain would reciprocate fully and warmly. . , , King Gustav and several members of the Swedish Royal Family as well as a great crowd were at the station when "the Princes left. The Princes will spend this evening at Gothenburg before leaving at- midnight tor Malmo, where aeroplane will be taken to Hamburg.
