HAWE/RIA LODGE! MEETING. The usual fortnightly meeting of the Hawera Lodge of the U.A.O.D. ' vaS held on Monday evening last, A-D. Bi’o. R,. Tippett presiding. There was a fail attendance of members. Satisfaction was expressed that a fresh agreement had been arrived at with the Hawera Hospital Board and a vote of thanks was accorded 1 .D.l - p.-o. J. W. J. Harding for the services rendered by him in assisting the hospital council. ... One new member was initiated while a, visitor was Dro. J. Bailey, of the Pacific Lodge (Wellington). The “indoor bowls” remains popular with members, many interesting games' being; played after the business meeting of 1 the lodge.
