PORT POSITION AT PATEA
EFFORT AT SETTLEMENT. DEPUTATION TO COMPANY. In an endeavour to 'arrange a satisfactory settTeenint of the position at the port of Patea a deputation consisting of the Mayor (Mr F. Ramsbottom), tin) chairman of the Harbour Board (Mr A. T. Christensen) and the chairman of the Domain Board (Air E. F. Hemingwav) will wait on the directors of the AVest Coast Refrigerating Company in the near future. The deputation was appointed by a meeting of about 25 Patea business' men in the borough chambers yesterday. The discussion was taken in committee.
