APPEALS AG AINST SENTENCES. EVIDENCE AT WELLINGTON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, -Sept. 1. The appeals of Robinson, Galbraith and Griffin against the sentence of reformativee detention not exceeding three years imposed on them by Mr. B. Page, S.M., following: the charges of printing and distribution of seditious statements in the “Bed "Worker’ ’ were commenced in the Supreme Court to-day. The appeals of Bobinsou and Galbraith were taken together and that of Griffin was tajven separately. After the hearing of further evidence and argument by counsel as to the responsibility for tlie printing o.f the documents the hearing was adjourned till to-morrow.
