TARANAKI UNION MEETING ARRiANGELMEINTS FOR. FIXTURES The management committee of the Taranaki Rugby Union met at Stratford last night, Mr J. S. McLeod presiding. Also present were Messrs J. Garcia, It. U. Rutherford, J. W. Paterson, Y. J. Henderson, It. Ooutts, W. A. Guy, J. Rowe, J. S. Hickey, K. V. Jury, E. J. Furrie and E-. H. Young. The Ucuar Shield tournament is to be played at New Plymouth next Saturday. Southern teams are to be paid travelling expenses at the rate of Is per mile one way, the first 16 miles not to count. All other games in the north and south will be postponed on that date.
