An inquest into the circumstances surrounding the dearth of To Ngaere, the eldest'son of the late Sir Maui Pomare, who was found dead alongside 1 a boat on the Manawatu River yesterday with gunshot wounds in the chest and face, was held- to-day. The coroner returned a verdict that death was due to the accidental discharge of the gun when it was being drawn from the boat.
