FOXTON SHOOTING TRAGEDY
VERDICT OF CORONER
(By Telegraph—rress Association.) FOXTON,June 11. An inquest into the circumstances surrounding the dearth of To Ngaere, the eldest'son of the late Sir Maui Pomare, who was found dead alongside 1 a boat on the Manawatu River yesterday with gunshot wounds in the chest and face, was held- to-day. The coroner returned a verdict that death was due to the accidental discharge of the gun when it was being drawn from the boat.
