India in the first innings against Cambridge made 308 (Colah 96; RoughtRought. took five for 71). Cambridge, after making 92 in the first innings, in the second lost six for 214 (Hadingham Gentlemen of Somerset in the first innings of their match against the touring South Americans' made 177 (Northway 69) and in the second' lost two for 149 (Illingworth 82 not out). The South Americans, after making 216 in the first innings, in the second made 108 (White six for 23). Somerset won by eight wickets.
