RAIN INTERRUPTS PLAY. MERRITT FOUR FOR TWENTY-SIX. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) LONDON. May 28. Rain interfered with cricket everywhere in England to-day. There was no play in the India v. Sussex match. In Manchester league cricket Fairfax (Accrington’s importation from Australia) made two and was then caucrht by Merritt (ex-New Zealander). Merritt took four wickets for 20 runs.
