SENTENCE OF PRISONERS. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER, May 27. In the Supreme Court to-day sentences were passed as follows: William Hamer, for breaking and entering three, years’ hard labour; Constance Emily Hamer, the former’s wife, breaking and entering, two years’ detention in a Borstal Institute; Benjamin Hamer, brother of the -first-named, receiving stolen goods, 18 months’ reformative treatment; John Lewis, forgery, 18 months’ imprisonment, to be concurrent with previous sentences; Francis Just, breaking and entering, two years’ hard labour; Lionel Bernard Just, a brother, breaking and entering, two years’ Borstal; a native, Hirini Tihema, breaking and entering, 12 months’ hard labour; Harry Hampton, breaking and entering, probation extended a further two years.
