S.T. WINTER SHOW

FANCY WORK DIVISION. Fancy work is a great section of the South Taranaki Winter Show, in which there is always a great deal of interest shown by all sections of the community. This year thirty-six classes have been provided for and special prizes are included. In this 'division classes are provided for crochet, knitting, stencil and raffia work, home-made toys, plain sewing, embroidery, etc., and much scope is offered for the many branches of fine needle work. All details. are given in the 1 schedule. There is a points prize of £1 Is in this section. There is also a children’s section. Every encouragement should be given to, the young people in this class work, and the section includes four classes which have been specially set aside. Additional classes have been added for boys 18 years and under—one. for fretwork and the other for an exhibit made from Mecanno or similar material. Entries for this division close on June 11. Persons requiring schedules may obtain them on application to the Manager, P.O. Box 79, Hawera.
