EUCHRE PARTY CATHOLIC SCSHOOD FUNDS (From Our Qlwn Correspondent.) A euchre party and dance organised by a committee with Mr J. Freyne as lion, secretary was held in, the Tokaora. Hall on Wednesday and was much enjoyed. The men’s euchre prize was won by Mr G. Dombroski (13 games), Messrs. J. Jordan, A. Reid and if. W. Glen tying for second place. Mr Jordan won the play-off. Mesdames Dombroski, Jennings, Searle and Kavanagih secured 11 wins, Mrs Dombroski winning, with Mrs Jennings second. Winners of novelty dances wei-e: Spot waltz, Miss. Northcott and Mr A. Wright j Monte Carlo, Miss Edgar and Mr R.. Ingram; spot fox trot, Miss Palmer and Mr Smith. Music was played by Wills’ Orchestra -with extras by Messrs S. Holmes, H. Barton and W. Banleyman. A nice supper served by the ladies concluded a pleasant evening.
