LYNCHING AT HONOLULU
PETITION FOR PARDON. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegrapb Copyright.) HONOLULU, May 6. Mrs. Massie’ts family claim that her whereabouts are unknown. Officers sought to serve a subpoena requiring her to remain here to testify in the re-trial of the rape case, which caused the subsequent murder trial op her mother and husband. Mrs. Fortescue said her daughter had suffered a nervous breakdown, and later said .she did not know where she was. It is believed she is planning to evade the officers with the aid of the navy. Meanwhile 1700 citizens have signed a petition for the complete pardon of_ the Massie group.
