With the deciding of the tennis championships the 1932 university tournament ended' to-day. Canterbury’s clear victory in the tennis matches has given it a 9-point lead over Auckland in the competition for the tournament shield. Victoria College is third and Otago, which scored 8 points, becomes tho first winner of the new wooden spoon. The points are:—
