BIBLE CLASS CAMP
EASTER MEETING AT' INGLEWOOD
The Presbyterian Young ’Women’s Bible Class (Taranaki district) Easter camp was held this year at Inglewood and although only 33 members found it convenient to attend, the gathering was regarded as a complete success. Mrs. Keenan, of Inglewood, acted as camp mother and her practical interest in the comfort and welfare of the girls was appreciated. Miss Dempsey, of Auckland, president or the Bible Clavss Council, was the principal speaker, the main subject for study being “Light of the World.”. On Friday a combined church service was held in the Inglewood Methodist Church. On Saturday there was an out-door excursion combining a picnic with sports in the vicinity of Everett Park, the New Plymouth students winning the Easter sports banner. A concert was held in the evening. Sunday was devoted to devotional exercises and oil Monday the Inglewood girls played “the rest” at basketball, winning by eight goals to two.
