LONDON, March 29,

The Bishop of Durham, addressing a schoolmasters’ conference at iSunderland, expressed apprehension regarding sex instruction in schools, and expressed the hope that teachers would refuse to give it until it is settled by whom and when it should be conveyed and what was to be said.

“Experience of secular education «hows that we are stimulating and developing the bodies of men and sending them from the schools moral and spiritual barbarians,” said the bishop. ‘‘This ‘lopsidedness of human character portends fearful disaster to society.”
