DISMISSAL NOT JUSTIFIED
ACTION WITHOUT NOTICE. COURT’S £l4O DAMAGES. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, Feb. 19. A case in which Francis Rickards proceeded against Catts-Patterson (New Zealand) Ltd. for £195 as three months’ salary in lieu of notice ended to-day. Mr." E. Page, S.M., was of the opinion that there were not sufficient circumstances to justify plaintiff’s dismissal without notice, and he gave judgment for £l4O, plus £ll costs.
