ADEQUATE ARMED FORCES
* CANADIAN LEGION IS VIEW. PRESERVATION OE PEACE. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 2.30 p.m. to-day. ' OTTAWA, Sept. 2. At the Canadian Legion Convention at Niagara Falls a resolution was adopted which declared .that war should have no place in the civilised world. The resolution supported the League of Nations disarmament plan. It was stated, however, that the resolution was not to be taken as approving of disarmament by individual nations and it was the duty of Canada to maintain adequate armed forces.
