BRIGHTON, Sep. 1. The Sussex v.' New Zealand cricket game was drawn. The Sussex team declared this morning with the score at 549 runs for nine wickets in reply to the New Zealanders’ first innings total of 385. At the luncheon adjournment the New Zealanders had reached 116 for two wickets. The innings closed for 305, and Sussex had scored 18 runs without loss at the call of time.

The New Zealand batsmen again railed to take advantage of a good start. After the dismissal of Mills who batted for 100 minutes and hit 8 fours,, Blunt continued to bat so and-
