POUND FALLS AND RALLIES UNEASINESS IN PARIS DOUBTS OF GERMAN SITUATION. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 2.0 p.m. to-day. RUGBY, Aug. 5. An unexpected fall in the pound sterling on the foreign exchange this morning was followed by a. sharp rally in the afternoon.
I t w'as by the Press to renewed uneasiness in Paris regarding the German situation. However, according to tosday’s advices from Berlin business attending the re-opening of the banks is normal and general reports are reassuring.
