For the Stratford Winter ShowTni [July «S, !), 10 ami 11, at Stratford, all I exhibits of farm and garden produce i must be grown by the exhibitor and must be staged by 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Juiv 7, the night preceding the opening of the show. ’Special prizes as well as class awards will be offered. and the association’s ribbons will be given to cup winners. The Taranaki stock auctioneers’ cup, valued at 12 guineas, will be awarded for most points in mangolds, swears and all field roots; it has already been won twice by Mr Evan Jones, Toko. Sperial, efforts are being made to jyrest the honour from Mr Jones this year. There are also cups for field carrots (presented by Mrs At. o’Reilly-)-; for ensilage (presented by Air Max~<3crnlioefer); for most points in garden section (presented by Mr Evan Jones); tlu; association’s shield valued at £lO, for the district farm produce court : and association cups, -which, can be won outright, for most, points in mangolds, swedes and field roots. Messrs Ilodder and Tolley, (Ltd., Ha- , worn, offer trophies for best collection of mangolds and collection of swedes (seed valued at 10s fld in each case).

The school division, open to all school children, embraces two classes for carrots, two for mangolds and one cliou moellicr. •Schedules may be obtained from the secretary, Mr F. T. Hale, Box 58, Stratford.
