The following statement was released: “That, having heard the evidence, we are of opinion that whilst it does not amount to fraudulent or corrupt, practice, we find that J. E. McKendry’is investment was made immediately after the. window was officially closed. That being so, the conduct of McKendrv and J. E. Fitzgerald, totalisator clerk, is censurable and, that the association reprimands both pa.r"tics A copv of this resolution is to be sent to 'Mr. James, proprietor of the totalisator, and to the Minister of Internal Affairs. .
