GANGSTER INDICTED

After two years’ secret investigation the Government has secured an indictment against the gangster “Scarface” A.l Capone for the evasion of income taxes amounting to £30,500. This and other charges are sufficient to gaol him for 32 years. Federal Treasury operatives examined 1000 persons to determine the gangster’s myriad financial affairs, iCapone surrendered to the authorities later in the day and. was released on £IO,OOO bail.
