Under a general plan to be submitted to a. meeting of citizens on Friday it is proposed to establish a central denot to provide at least one good hot meal daily free of charge for those in need, particularly women and children, and in cases where they are unable, through sickness or for other reasons to attend personally, to deliver meals to their homes. If funds permit it is proposed also that inquiries be made at the homes, and that in cases of distress, necessary help hi the way of firing, clothing, etc., be supplied.
