THOM AS-DONOVAN BOUT. RETURN MATCH ARRANGED. A meeting of the executive of the Taranaki Boxing Association was held at New Plymouth last evening when there were present Messrs. J. Garcia (chairman). W. N. Stephenson, C. E. Roebuck. R. Harvey, J. Ho rlor, A. Clarke, D. Le Cren Morgan, A. F. Aidie, V. S. Pruden and Ei. J. Carr (lion, secretary). It was reported that the executive had been successful in arranging the return Donovan-Tliomas bout at New Plymouth for Saturday evening, May 23, for £2OO, the maximum purse permitted by the New Zealand Association. Mr. Ned Perry will he asked to referee, and applications will he invited from amateurs available to take part in the preliminaries.
