ATTENDINCI CHARITY CONCERT. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 11. In view of the King’s recent illness it. was feared he would lie unable to attend the Royal variety* performances at tiie Palladium Theatre in aid of the ’•M-iety Artists’ Benevolent Institution. Milder weather, however, has hastened Ilis Majesty’s return to health and his medical advisers are ofythe opinion that the King has now made a compete recovery. He will therefore attend the performance, at which famous stars of variety have given their services free.
