AUTUMN BLOOMS

PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH ANNUAL FLOWER SHOW THE PRIZE LIST. The display made at tlfcjj annual autumn flower show held at the Presbyterian Ohurcih, Hawera, in their hall to-day was one of the best yet made under its auspices. Entries were well up to last year, white the standard and quality was very high and met wijbh much approval by the judges. A beautiful and unique design was shown by Mrs. Willis in the form of a crescent and a star" in appropriate corners. Some wonderful chrysanthemums were shown on exhibition on by Mr. C. Goodson and were much admired. Stalls were run as follows: —Produce, Mesdames Kirkby, Bourke, Sage, Watts and G. Hai'ding; sweets, Mosdames Reid, Bowman and Sorenson; cakes, Mesdames A Murdoch, Lacey, Storm and W. H. ’Young: work, Mesdames L. A. Bone, Leece, Trotter and Whitelock and Gould; tea room, Mesdames ■T. Hicks, Sargent and Miss Young. The show was opened this afternoon and will he continued! this evening.
