FUTURE POLICY. BOYS’ BRANCH PROPOSED. Following on the discussion at the annual meeting last week, the oommitee of the Hawera Male Choir had a conference with the executive of the Competitions Society, which is conducted under the aegis of the choir, and) the affairs of the Male Choir were thoroughly discussed. Policy matters were reviewed and it is understood a further meeting will he held to finalise operations for the future. In the meantime, a small committee under the direction of Mr. G. H. Buckeridge is maldng efforts to improve the finances of the choir. One of the schemes to help the institution is the formation of a boys’ choir to co-operate with the meu and Mr. Ruekeridge will be glad to learn of boys who are willing to .join. It is fdlt that this move will serve not only to improve the choir, but also to widen the interest taken in its affairs.
