By advertisement in this issue Messrs Kendall and McFadyen announce that _ they have taken over the old-estab-lished furnishing business known as Arthur’s Furnishing, Warehouse. To .enable preparations to be made for the sale which commences on Saturday the premises will be temporarily closed all day to-morrow, Friday. One.member of. the new firm' —Mr. C. J. McFadyen—is well known to the public of Hawera ns manager of the business taken over. Mr. Fred. Kendall, who hails from Palmerston North, hopes soon to gain the confidence of old and) new eustom,T. C. Smith, of Hawera, will sell under instructions of the D.O.A. in the estate of Stuart Barker the stock in trade consisting of electrical fittings of ' all descripions; also £ h.p. single phase motor, ovenettes. toaster, shades, etc., at the mart on Saturday at 2 p.m:
