SAMOAN ADMINISTRATION
“TRUTH KEPT FROM PUBLIC”
AUCKLAND MINISTER’S ATTACK
LETTER TO ENGLISH PAPER
(United Presa Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 11 a.m. to-day. LONDON, March 25. The “Saturday Review” publishes a three-column letter by Rev. Arthur Greenwood, vicar of St. Albans, Auckland, strongly attacking New Zealand’s administration in Samoa.
The letter says: “It looks as though the administrator, backed up by the New Zealand Government, leaves no stone unturned to prevent the truth about Samoa reaching the public ear.’* The writer contests Sir Tliomsa Wilford’s Geneva statement that the situation was improving. St. Albans Church is in Dominion Road, one of Auckland’s suburbs.
