A case of interest in aviation circles I was heard at the Hamilton Court to- \ day, when Stanley James Blackmore, a local pilot, was convicted on a, charge of trick flying over the town on February IG. Evidence showed that defenlant came down from an altitude of 1800 feet to about 1200 feet and went into a partial loop. This was repeated several times. The defence submitted that the loop was in effect a stalling turn, and not a dangerous manoeuvre, as suggested. A fine of 40s was inflicted.
