Following are the results: Section 9, 266 acres, Keith J. »* ard, Porangahau, 28 applicants; section 12, 289 acres, S. P. Gubrie, Waipukurau, 27 applicants; section 7, 650 acres, James A. Quartermain, Danne-. virke, 23 applicants; section 8, 156 acres, W. TI. Monteith, Dannevirke, 17 applicants; section 6, 272 acres, H. D. Wright, Hatuma, 13 applicants; section 13, 454 acres, Gilbert E. King, Bayview, Napier, 12 applicants. For five sections at Rvlands, three miles from Waipukurau, in dairying land, nine applicants were narrowed down to two. One withdrew. John James Butler, Waipukurau, got the selection, section OS, 199 acres.
