Mrs. Stenlake, of the Tnikatn Road, Otakeho, is an inmate of the Hawera Public Hospital.

Mr. Jack Murray, a student at Auckland Univesity, son of Mn J. S. Murray, of Hawera, gained his B.Sc. degree at the reoent examinations and has also been awarded the senior scholarship in physios. Congratulations were extended yesterday at the monthly meeting of the Hawera Branch of the W.D.F.U. to Mrs W. El. Carter and Mrs C. Benton, presidents respectively of Hawera and Auroa. branches, on their being sworn in as Justices of the Peace.
