The Government’s reduction proposals were endorsed by a conference >f the Tafahak.il Local Bodies to-day and the following resolution was imu liman sly passed’: “in view of the Prime Minister’s announcement of a. ten per cent, reduction in the salaries of civil servants this association recommends its members to adopt as a general principle reductions on similar lines to what may be adopted by Parliament, each individual local body to act according to its own particular circumstances.” . ...
