FARMER’S FATAL INJURIES DOGS KEEP BACK BULLS DEATH; FROM COMPLICATIONS (By Telegraph—Press Association.) TEI KUITI, Feb. 23. Charles H. Holmes, a well-known farmer, of Teanga, was thrown from a horse which bolted yesterday and lecsived .a ;compound, fracture of the thigh. . , , . ~ When he was lying helpless on the ground bulls approached the scene and attempted to reach Holmes, but dogs kept them back. The unfortunate man was lying on the ground for some time before he was rescued by a brother. He was taken to hospital, where complications ensued, and he died last night, He leaves a wife and several children.
