It is being conducted in the Agricultural and Pastoral Assnc'iatLon’is cattle pavilion and already 26S children are enrolled, permitting a maximum of fresh air. Light classrooms are admirably suited to the purpose, having been thoroughly swept ; and disinfected. Free books were js- , sued to the children to-day. The school - is under the supervision of Air, E. ; B-nrv, heaclmaste rof Central School, . i while Mr. AlcGlashan, of Napier, is ! tlie senior master on the staff, all of 1 whom are from Hawke’s B<ay schools.
