HITLERITES WITHDRAW
BOYCOTT OF THE REICHSTAG NAZIS’ SPECTACULAR EXIT. NEW PROCEDURE OBJECTED TO. (Pnlted Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) BERLIN, Fob. 11. Raising their arms in the Fascist salute and shouting 4 ‘Hail!’’ thrice, the whole 107 Hitlerite deputies made a spectacular exit from the Reichstag. Their action, which is described as a boycott, is stated to be the outcome of the Reichstag’s adoption last night of sweeping reforms in Parliamentary.procedure designed to accelerate business and curb the efforts of orators whose obvious intention is propaganda. The action is also associated with the Nazis’ League of Nations motion tabled on February 3. Members of the Nationalist, Country and People’s parties followed. The Reichstag of 577 members has thus been deprived of 106 Oppositionists. Their decision to abstain will facilitate the passage of the Budget and other Government .measures, but it is cxpcctcu i there will be a big increase of the activities of Nazis throughout the country, where it is proposed to declare all laws of the present Reichstag unconstitutional.
It is explained on behalf of the Nazis that they will not return until “it is necessary to defend the nation against Parliament’s treacherous attacks.’’ The London “Times” Berlin correspondent states Herr Stohr has resigned the Vice-Presidency of the Reichstag.
