HAWERA BRANCH AI FETING. The monthly meeting of the Hawera branch of the Plunket Society was held in ilie rooms, Albion Street, on Monday evening, 'there were pres-, cut Mesdames Minks (chair), Aleyrick. Bardslc.v, Yeale, Corrigan, Henderson. Davy, Aleredith, Jobson, Campbell. Goodwin, Billows and Tait. Apologies for absence were received from Mines. Carter and Rae. The nurses’ reports lor December and January were read and adopted. Owing to the many appeals now being made to the public for earthquake re Fief and unemployment, the committee decided that this year they would forego their annual effort usually held in March. Nurse Dix is at present on annual leave.
It was decided to commence an antenatal clinic at the rooms, the day and time to he advertised later. The following subscriptions were acknowledged with thanks: Mesdames Bardslev £1 Is., Fyson £l. L.
