Helen Hornby Lewis, widow of the great Liverpool merchant, was to-dav buried at her own request in the rose garden of the historic country seat at Danesfield, Aledmenham. Deceased, who hart no children, left £2,000,000 and specially requested that her age he not engraved on the coffin and that it should ever remain a secret, known only to her secretary.
