SHOCK FOR WOMAN DRIVER. Princess Alary and her husband, the Earl of Harewood, were apparently none the worse for the motor car collision in which they were involved a few weeks ago. Ai iss Mary Appleyard, of Roundhay, Leeds, who. is employed in a Government office in Leeds, was driving the two-seater car which was in collision with that of the Princess and her husband. She told a “Daily Mail” reporter : “I have only just had lessons in driving, and it was my first time out with my car without my tutor. The shock of the accident was intensified when I learned of the identity- of the occupants of the other ear. “Lord Harewood was really very nice about it-, but I do not know whether I shall ever drive a car again.”
