A. report from Daytona states that poor visibility and a strong wind folia;.- prevented Captain Campbell attempting a record Irial. He contented himself with exhibition runs. One exhibition was timed al 104 miles an hour, bill Capra ing .Campbell said he attained a speed of i’(\o miles .just before he entered the course. At that point lie said the car slipped out of gear, and he was forced 1o coast over the meaured mile in neutral. He plans an official attempt to-morrow.
