At present the weather prospects for tho Egmont Racing Club’s meeting tomorrow are good. There was a slight shower this morning but the track was not affected. A large number of horses have arrived and the rest of the visiting horses will arrive to-day. T rainer L. G. Morris was on the tracks this morning with High Falutin, Cashier and Consent, the latter being engaged at the Taranaki Club)s meeting next week. Ail three horses aie in good shajie. High f aimin' and. Cashier worked at* halt pace, both moving smoothly. The cup horse, Alaui, looks well and shaped nicely in .a gallop over five furlongs with the Nolan Cup candidate, Werata. on the outside of the course proper in 1.7 2-5. Tenterden, on the same track, ran four furlongs in 53 l-ssec. Chief Link and Green Linnet galloped five furlongs on the outside in 1.61-. . .

On the plough track, Chopin just shaded Calamine in a smartly run halfmile in 50sec. Chopin is in great- heart. Silvermine went a mile and a quarter working gallop, .coming home the last three furlongs smartly. Sali'pot was exercised at three-quarter

pace. Vertigern cantered a round and galloped four furlongs down the back in 52see on the plough. On the outside AVinacre sprinted five furlongs by herself in.l.6j in good style. Tobaccoland did pace work, similar work being allotted to Tentcall and Golclzone.

High Falutin will be ridden by B. H. Alorrik in the Egmont Cup; Silvermine by H. Gray, Chopin by Af. Pine, Maui bv H. Wiggins, The Swell by R. Drink water, and First Acre by T. Webster.
