ABSOCIATION CONFERENCE

ELECTION OF OFFICERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER, Jan. 15. The election of officers of the Associated Booksellers of New Zealand, which concluded the annual conference at, Napier to-day, resulted as follows: President, Mr G. H. Bennett (re-elect-ed) ; vice-presidents, Messrs H. J. Edmiston, B. E. H. Whitc.ombc, A. E. Rosevear, R. C. O’Connor, Poster Brook and A. R. Clark; council members, Messrs H. M. Hyndman, C. W. Poynter, A. J. Covcney, F. H: Christian, J. Walker, H. H. Driver, H. L. Humphreys, J. W. Webb, J. King, H. E. Pithcr, M. Avery, W. J. Osborn, L. Whitcombe, A. V. Dailow, C. A. Innes and E. E. Marsdon; honorary auditor, Mr W. J. Osborn; representative on advisory board of the New Zealand Employers’ Federation, Mr R, C. O’Connor. In recognition of his services as Eondon representative of the Associated Booksellers, Mr E. V. Chaffey was presented with a gold watch.
