The lirst-of-season peaches and apricots from Central Otago were auctioned in'lnvercargill during the weekend. 'Well-coloured and sound, the fruit was keenly sought after, and one crate of peaches brought 11Id per lb, while a crate of apricots realised 10fd per lb.
