The Great Western Railway has undertaken a big programme of developments, including a £1,000,000 scheme for improving and enlarging Paddington Station, and the construction of £1.200,000 worth of locomotives and rolling stock, to be built at Swindon. The whole programme involves £8.500.0 10 and many different industries will benefit.
